What's It All About, Alfie?

This is where you'll find movie spoilers — crucial plot twists, endings, and other minutae guaranteed to ruin the surprise in hundreds of films, past and current.

Why do we do this? Because it's fun to summarize the main thrust of a movie in a few sentences, and because this has become one of the most popular sections on the site. Maybe you really want to know what happens before you see a movie (perhaps saving yourself a king's ransom in admission). Maybe you enjoy reading summaries of major plot points for movies you've already seen. Maybe you remember a few details about a movie, but can't think of the title (a little searching here may very well help). Maybe you fell asleep before the end of a movie, and nobody else seems to know how it ended!

Or maybe you just didn't understand the ending of Unbreakable, couldn't tell whose body that was in Jagged Edge, or were completely confused by The Others — and you're hoping we can clear things up for you. (If so, you've definitely come to the right place!)

Whatever the reason for the popularity, we don't really know. And we don't really care. The point is, you want spoilers, and we enjoy writing them for you.

We're not trying to torture anybody. If you don't want to know who dies or who kills whom, then simply don't look. Easy!

But if your curiosity is killing you, go ahead and search for for favorite movie, or start with the main menu, or see what's new. Just don't say we didn't warn you!
