Mary (Sheryl Lee) has her baby in the woods, but gives the little girl to a Shawnee wet nurse, while Mary's son is taken away by a warrior. After living with the Indians and other captured white people for a while, Mary is rescued, returns to her husband, and has to explain what happened to their kids. At the last moment, the nice Indian who's had a crush on Mary brings the kids home.
