FBI Special Agent Polk (Dana Elcar) is actually one of the con men; Loretta, the lady at the diner (Dimitra Arliss), is the mob's hitman; Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw) gets conned out of more money; and Henry (Paul Newman) and Johnny (Robert Redford) don't really die.
