Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Everybody gets eaten by zombies, except Ben, who is forced to retreat to the cellar for the night (proving Harry right!). In the morning, he awakens to the sounds of the zombie hunters, who, thinking Ben is a zombie too, shoot him dead, and throw his body onto a bonfire.
