The Night Stalker (Made for TV, 1972)
Kolchak (Darren McGavin) stakes the vampire through the heart, and the police force him to get the hell out of Las Vegas and never come back. They've made his girlfriend Gail (Carol Lynley) leave too, and he never sees her again... at least, not until this TV-movie becomes a series.
