The Last Voyage (1960)
There's an explosion in the boiler room, which tears through four or five decks of the ship just as Dorothy Malone is reaching under a stateroom bed to retrieve her kid's doll. Dorothy's trapped under heavy steel for most of the picture while the ship sinks... but hubby Robert Stack and crewman Woody Strode rescue her just in the nick of time. And then the ship sinks. For real. (Like, really for real: They sank the Ile de Paris for the movie.)
